Raintree Teas is a subsidiary company of the principal company, Asean Pacific Packers, which was incepted in Singapore in 1979 as purveyors of specialty teas and coffees. Raintree is devoted to searching for a better harvest maturing in one of the many tea gardens of Sri Lanka. Raintree recognizes that it is important to demand high quality tea, and adopts the (CTC) crushing, tearing and curling method, the traditional orthodox method, which is the only way the full delicacy of the aroma and the typical character of the tea can be expressed in a cup.
