A joint venture between KLK, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Miyoshi Oil & Fat Co., Ltd. and Asahi Denka Kyogo K.K., it is one of the earliest resource-based manufacturing investments by KLK. The plant was commissioned in 1992 and produces Palmera® Fatty Acids and Glycerine using the latest process technology and computerised monitoring systems. With its latest expansion, Palm-Oleo is one of the largest standalone Oleochemical producers in the world.
