Company Profile
The IIUM Management Centre, which is part of the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, was set up in 1993. The Centre, through its programmes, aims to focus on the need for a well-balanced and holistic approach to management. Recognising the importance of networking in a global environment, the Centre is initiating smart partnerships and strategic alliances globally that will complement our role and generate mutually beneficial activities with centres of excellence within and beyond ASEAN. The Centre believes such an effort will contribute to the development of a new generation of business leaders who are technically and morally competent to take up challenges of the information age.
Products & Services
The Centre operates on a self-financing basis with its own administrative personnel. Having excellent teaching facilities and academic staff, it now offers two executive programmes, namely the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Management (MMgt). Teaching faculty for the programmes is sourced from the lecturers of the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, as well as from industry. All teaching faculty have doctoral degrees and relevant experience in their respective areas. A good number of our lecturers have also been involved in consultancy work with industry. There is also a good mix of international and local teaching staff, which gives the programme an international flavour.
In addition to the two executive programmes, the Centre also provides in-house training and consultancy services to Malaysian and international corporations.
