Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) has established itself as a tertiary hospital of repute in Malaysia and in the region, providing quality medical services at affordable rates. Managed and owned by Health Management International Ltd (HMI), the hospital plays a vital part to the healthcare group's operations. HMI was listed on the Singapore Exchange (SESDAQ) in 1999. The hospital is currently staffed with 50 full time medical specialists of various disciplines. MMC's management comprises of personnel with varying qualifications. There is a good mixture of personnel who has been with the company since its inception and those who have recently joined from other established organisations.
Products & Services
The hospital currently manages 235 beds in five wards (including one maternity ward), the ICU and CCU. The hospital also operates other medical facilities including nine major Operating Rooms (ORs) and one Minor ORs, Radiology Services, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Day Procedure Unit, Health Screening Services, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy Services, IVF Services, Haemodialysis Services, Physiotherapy Services and Dental Services. Besides the core services, the hospital also provides other services including the cafeteria and retail facilities on the ground floor. In addition, MMC also trains nurses for both private and public hospitals in Malaysia .
