Hitachi Sales (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (HSM), which is the marketing arm of Hitachi consumer electronic products such as audio and video equipment and home appliances, has been established since 1972. From the humble beginning of one sales office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor., the company has now set up four main service centre in Penang, Ipoh, Kuantan, Johor and appointed agent in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan , while having a numerous service points all over the country.

Initially, without any local based factory, HSM could only market products made mainly in Japan.
However, with the establishment of Hitachi Air-conditioner Products (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and Hitachi Electronics Products (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Bangi, Selangor in 1989. HSM is now able to provide more "MADE IN MALAYSIA" quality products to our valued customers. In addition to this, we are also distributing more Hi-Tech products and digital equipment such as LCD projector, Projection TV, DVD.
