Company Profile
Emico had its beginning in 1973 when its founder members Lim Beng Huan and Loh Lay Choo started a partnership known as Syarikat Perniagaan Emico which was involved in the retail business for trophies, souvenirs and signboards. The partnership gradually expanded its activities to include the manufacturing of its retail products. In 1983, the partnership was converted into private limited company and acquired industrial land located in Bayan Lepas Industrial Area to venture into full-scale manufacturing. Pursuant to its listing exercise, a restructuring scheme was implemented by the group in 1991 whereby the various private companies held by the founders were acquired and regrouped under Emico Holdings Berhad. On 6 April 1994, the company was successfully listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities (Second Board).
Products & Services
Emico manufacturing facilities are situated both in Malaysia and Vietnam. We possess total of 38 units of injection moulding machines ranging from 50 ton to 650 ton clamping force in order to handle big and small parts. We have experience in insert moulding, over moulding and runnerless moulding.
We have in-house surface finishing facilities such as silkscreen, tempo printing, hot stamping, ultrasonic welding and spray painting to enhance the plastic parts. Emico has one of the biggest vacuum metalizing chambers in the South East Asia and are capable to chrome large size of products. With our overhead conveyor system, we can cater for high production output and fast delivery. We are equipped with assembly lines and workstations to perform assembly work, special packaging or labeling.
