Ayamas Food Corporation Bhd (AFCB) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 on 27 April 1985 as a private limited company under the name of Raswira Sdn. Bhd. The Company changed its name to KFC Food Processing Sdn. Bhd. on 18 May 1987. It adopted its present name on 19 November 1993. The Company was listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 3 November 1994.
Products & Services
The Company markets branded, high quality chicken that is hygienically processed and packed by AFCB's plant in Port Klang. AFCB operates one of the largest poultry plants in Malaysia. It is a highly mechanized, environmentally friendly processing plant that processes 80,000 birds a day and produces 650 metric tons of further processed products a month. The plant has stringent controls that ensure the products meet the highest quality standards. This total focus on processing quality has resulted in international recognition and the "halal" certification by the Malaysian Government's religious council.
