High Impact Resistance
ALCOPLA panels bond two high strength aluminum sheets to both sides of a polyethylene core or mineral filled core (Fire-rated). The tension between the aluminum sheets and the polyethylene core or mineral filled core (Fire-rated) will resist breakage under the high impact conditions that traditional aluminum sheets are exposed to. ALCOPLA excellent capacity for high strength and high impact resistance is demonstrated best when applied architecturally.

ALCOPLA composite panels are produced using high temperatures and a continuous bonding process. Diligent tests have proved that the bonding strength between the aluminum sheets and the polyethylene core or mineral filled core (Fire-rated) is such that there is never any loss of adhesion. Even through the most extreme changes in temperature and weather, ALCOPLA composite panels resist checking, crazing, color change or any loss of glass.
